Our Story
Chosen Wood Windows was founded by Vern Forrest in 1998 with one purpose: to rebuild failing pine windows. The service was extremely popular, and we have expanded from rebuilding pine windows to launching a complete line of products and services for modern, vintage, and historic wood and steel windows and doors. To this day, we take pride in our ability to deliver the highest level of craftsmanship on both small projects and large-scale commercial or residential work. We can bring our signature level of service and precision to jobs of any size.

Chosen Wood Windows was founded in 1998 in Portland, Oregon, by Vern Forrest. Since those early days, we’ve expanded our business to serve the entire Pacific Northwest, including Oregon, Washington, and other areas, both rural and urban.
In addition to our local projects, we have had the opportunity to take on projects from across the country as well as commercial restoration projects for some of our nation’s landmarks throughout the country.
