Schedule an Evaluation

Because of the custom nature of each wood window repair, we craft unique solutions to address the individual requirements of each project. All projects begin with our initial assessment. Our experts visit the site to note the status of your windows and make a game plan for the project.

Work Begins

Next, if necessary, we’ll carefully remove each window. We meticulously label each window and its location, as historic windows are very specific to their unique placement in the home. With the windows away from the home and transported to our repair facility, our repair process happens more efficiently. We’ll make repairs, add upgraded features at your request, and make sure the windows are ready for re-installation.

Completion &
Fine-Tuning

Finally, we reinstall your repaired windows, make sure they operate properly, and, if included in the project,  apply finishes that protect the wood and match the original aesthetic.

Project History

Chosen Wood Windows was founded in 1998 in Portland, Oregon, by Vern Forrest. Since those early days, we’ve expanded our business to serve the entire Pacific Northwest, including Oregon, Washington, and other areas, both rural and urban.

In addition to our local projects, we have had the opportunity to take on projects from across the country as well as commercial restoration projects for some of our nation’s landmarks throughout the country.
