    FAQS

    What is Dry Rot?

Dry rot is damage caused by fungi that attack wood and reduce the structural integrity. While its name implies a lack of moisture, the reality is that moisture allows the fungi to grow and thrive in wood. It weakens the wood, making it prone to cracking and structural damage, and will eventually turn it to dust when left untreated. At the first sign of rot, you’ll want to contact a dry rot window repair contractor like Chosen right away.
